My work phone won't allow me to phone numbers that don't accept anon numbers. I seem to recall that there is a number you can put in front of the number you're dialling to reveal your number. Anyone know what it is or where I find the "phone options" in a Blackberry 7130v?

there's a blackberry forum if you Google it, I've used it quite a bit as I can never remember where all the settings are within 'apps'

I'm ready to accidentally run mine over in the next 2 weeks so i can get a BB storm

and coincidentally I got a call an hour ago that said "number not recognised" so I ignored it ...... First withheld number I've had in a couple of years .....

141 to withhold a number on a landline ....

if I get a call that's number withheld, I don't answer it ......

My phone is blocked so you cant ring and withhold your number.:neenaw:
Brilliant for large companys using a PABX phone system, they can only ring on a dedicated line.:p

I have a mate called Dave (seriously, he is) who's company are specialists in legitimate tax avoidance (not to be confused with tax evasion) and he has some serious issues with 'high client expectations'; so he's the only guy I know personally who withholds his number as it's a self preservation thing ...... I have to "guess" and take a gamble if it's him calling ........ generally I ignore a call if there's no caller ID. certainly at the office I do; I have a Cisco Systems IP phone, no caller ID? no chance ..... if they want me that bad, they know where I live :-0)
