Last night, while filling my car with diesel at my local (20 miles away) Asda, I happened to notice the vacant pumps all had 'round' charges of ?10, ?20, etc...

Why would anyone do this at an unattended, card only station? Cash I can understand, but cards??????????????? Given the high price per litre it must take a hell a lot of concentration, and wasted time, to stop exactly on 00.

Feckin' weird.

good looking AND modest
They are very nice, I've had one on my bike for some time, luckily as I have straight bars on it I don't need to use one of Paul's ram mount adaptors, and it cant be nicked by any light fingered twats because the straight bar goes right across the top so stopping anyone levering it out!! @tu*

His stainless luggage holders are bloody good too!!

Speaking of bizarre behaviour at filling stations

On friday evening on the way home from visiting me mam I called in at a large Spar shop/Shell garage near J31a of M6 for some milk was about 9:00pm.

As I negotiated the slalom type queue line. There was a sudden movement from the left corner of my eye, then a soaking wet fat bloke clad in a skimpy towel went running past to the front of the queue he was carrying a bundle of hi viz clothing and work boots. He said to the gob smackacked cashier 'ere's thee key fo shower luv'.
The shop was full of staff at the time, they all stopped painting and decorating and had a right laugh8rfl@

Apparently he was a truck driver
