To be honest, I didn't have a lot of time, so I didn't even have a look around inside the sweet shop.

I can't say anything, I have a Triumph Tiger 955i and another one on the way in January. :couch:

Good choice for that style of bike, that engine is a peach if looked after, we went out & got one for a mate a couple of weeks ago, well into the 50,000 miles & still as sweet as can be, not even the usual starter clutch issues I really am impressed, not sure I'd like to turn the bugger round in the road with a full tank though

Mine's got 60,000 miles on it & engine's still sweet. the one I'm picking up in January has 130,000 miles but aside from needing a new clutch & a small oil leak behind the front sprocket, I've no idea what condition it's in. They're both 2006 bikes so the starter clutch shouldn't be an issue (so I'm told). Still, only paid £200 for it so even if the engine's had it I'm not too fussed, especially as I have a 20,000 mile engine sitting on the bench in the garage should I need it.

I can’t ride the Bird now... too many ops and my XRV is getting considerably more use as it’s so comfy and easy. No where near quick but it rides well and can lift its iron curtain of a skirt if u really ask it to.
Beaker will have your red ‘Bird. As he lives near France, he'll prolly take your daughter’s 107, too.

Well... good luck to you. I know a few oldies on here are finding the bird crouch a little difficult (regular injections are working for me so far LOL) and I couldn't afford something like that, but, if it floats your boat... >Slightly< less ugly than the Vara... but a lorra tech to go wrong lol...
Still, you should be ashamed of yourself for looking at other bikes than the Holy Bird...
First offence? Crucifixion, of course. Line on the left, one cross each...
Have fun!

In fairness there are some excellent cliffs here that both could be pushed over.
