I just got an email from my current MZ insurance thanking me that I have chosen to stay with them for another year. Only I haven't, but was going to anyway. Insurance aint up until 1st July.
Now I was going to declare the RTA on the Bird as you have to do for 5 years regardless of fault.
This company boasted that they do not do automatic renewals, so have they broken they're own rules or just pulled a fast one?

I've just renewed both car and bike. Usual yearly bollocks of getting a quote, doing a Meerkat search getting it cheaper and ringing my current insurers to get it reduced .. boils my piss

Can't contact them today, only chat available & they're not picking up.
Anyhow I found the web page that you
fill in for non automatic renewels. I'm sure that's what I did last time, so I've filled it in again & sent it off & got a confirmation. Now then, I will ring tomorrow & discuss this, if they insist i
have taken out a new contract & to end
the agreement is a forfeit of £40. for the 14 day cooling off period. I will challenge that by stating I haven't declared last year's RTA & without that information from me, you cannot by your own admission declare it as a law abiding contract.
See how you like those apples.

I got my bike insurance quote the other day, It was only a fiver more than what I paid last year... not even worth the hassle of phoning up this time.
