ok so far its..ron, lesley, steve, hoover merchant, edcbr, and moi, possible moped man and gazza and his other half
were gonna have to put a time limit on leaving the trip open..due to getting a gaff that can take us all in the peak season!
so.........this monday is the cut off date for ticket sales so i can start sourceing b&b`s etc

SO IF YOU WANNA ATTEND SPEAK UP NOW:beer:

its gonna be an early start so we can get there in the morning..dump the gear and get out for the day

IMPORTANT CHANGE!

having spoke to everyone who have stuck there name forward to attend..we have extended the trip dates to the friday also:bow:
the ferry prices stay the same to its only the b&b and grub costs that will increase
so.....its now the 25,26,27th of july:yo:
i will try and sort out accomodation cost etc by this tuesday and let you all know

Has anyone thought about hotels for the trip ????

I did a bit of browsing around and there ain't a lot of availability !!! Most of the 'budget' places are showing full for that weekend as it's the peak holiday week.

Some of the more up-market ones have rooms......but a double is upwards of ?80 a night !!!!

Also found a few 'cheaper ones'......but they have limited space available, so it could mean that we stay in different hotels and that wasn't really the idea.....was it ?????

Any thoughts ?????:dunno:

My wife attends the national Quarter Horse Show the week before.... that will kill me.

After playing "Stable Lad" for 4 days for her two american quarter horses...

Feeding, mucking out, grooming... you are totally sha&&ed out, believe me.

But if I still be able to walk, I will do the Isle with you lot.

IOW is 25 min from me home, in Andover.

I will manage some how, no prob's.

BB...best check the throttle cable of your jetbike..cos they have a habbit of sticking..and should something happen to the engine kill switch:dunno: ..you could end up saying bonjour a little sooner than you think....or even "good day m8" if supas really lucky:f :f
