Big Bang

I think I came by a big bang blackbird by buggering up the carburation. Personally I would not recomend the Big Bang system because you start with a smooth evenly spaced firing order. Whereas the Big Bang system deliberately buggers up the timeing to give you an engine that is fighting itself and so will wear out sooner. This is because instead of the cylinders firing at even spaces (poss 360degrees divided by four) which is balanced. You need to change this so that in the big bang you have some cylinders firing closer together than others so the engine is unbalnced and so will wear out quicker but before it does you will get the desired effect.

I my problem was that one cylinder was not getting enough fuel??

Funny you should say this, I have just been looking at turning the black beast into a big bang version  Technically it should be quite easy as the plugs fire on the ignition stroke and the exhaust stroke already. With a carb version, it should be just a case of having the cams welded and re profiled. Still not to sure of how to alter the injector sequence on an EFI model though.

The toque should be frightening :lick: Although you probably would not want to tour with it %$fan
