Better Biker course

I did a Better Biker organised by MK council. Instructors were ex Special Escort Group and the like. Interesting talk during the morning (I did not know that there is actually less grip on the roads in the warm summer months than in the winter) followed by a couple of hours observed ride with 2:1 ratio of student to instructor. I was assessed as safe and with good machine control but plenty of scope for improvement in various areas. It was free so worth doing. Just need to try and put into practice the things I was told.

Probably a bit of a generalisation about winter and summer grip levels? Even doing my tuition I remember them mentioning recently washed roads, leaves, that sort of stuff.

Apparently I can have free instructor training from a company we did a web site for. Is it worth doing?

The observed ride was worth doing. The theory on cornering, overtaking etc was nothing new really. I guess any sort of training is worth having. Until now I have never had any having passed my test in 1978.
