I have found a fantastic test track for those little birdies of your's
If you have never ridden the A4107 Cymmer To Treorchy it's a must, sweeping bends hairpins straights and fantastic scenary to go with it.
Also to continue the A4061 Treherbert to Hirwain 20 or so miles of sheer delight.
When the weather changes Get out there you will love it I promis  e

Very near the Cat and Fiddle is a road that Orms and I rode. Full of ENORMOUS leaps like riding on the track of a rollercoaster.........

That may be it........it was fookin' marvellous, I was laughing so much at Orms taking off I was nearly crashing. That day was a buzz and a half.

I'm hopeless at remembering road numbers but I think you mean the road from Congleton to Buxton which joins up with the cat & fiddle road a couple of miles beyond the cat.

I used that road last time on my way to the Matlock meet, around 90+ and flying....had me grinning and shouting "weeeeeeeee"..... great fun.

:yo:

Yeah that sounds like it - in fact I'm sure.

Much more than a ton over those rises and down those bolt holes and it gets stupid!

R2B2 map reading not your forte then. The road streches from Junc 40 M4 till it finishes at A4061
But it's from Cymmer to the A4061 that's the best, but remember because it's so rural(no police or camera's)it's only the sheep you have to worry about :lick:

Don't quite believe the bit about the police or cameras! Sorry, but lived there too long to know better!
Roads are awesome, but there have been fatalities, so keep your mince pies open, and have some awesome fun. It aint just Mid wales thats got nice roads!
