My lovely company, who I have selflessly and loyally given my heart and soul and mind to are going to put me out of a job at the end of the month, and as I have only ever used their server I am now looking out for a suitable ISP. Any advice on whats the best would be much appreciated. I did try BT Openworld for a while but it caused some problems with our intranet, so not too keen to go back there. Any suggestions much appreciated.

well............

I have done AOL:puke:

I have done BT:bandit:

I am now with .Planet-talk , which is part of the Primus tellecommunications company.

For ?12.99 a month I get unlimited access, although I think they do have a cut off time but its certainly not as strict as BT were.

I get I think 10mb of webspace but I use another company for that anyway.

Only one email address though, but thats fine with me.

Unlimited email support and also a free fone help line which I have used and they are very helpful.

As yet I think this is quite a small concern, not up there with the big boys, but it suits me

NTL

We are on NTL B/band also at same price and we already have their phone and cable too!

We were originally on ntl's free internet service and had previously had an extra phone line on a free installation offer, for which we paid the princely sum of ?5 a month. Then ntl put the free internet access up to ?5 per month, then said they were increasing to ?10 per month, = ?15. So we have had B/band installed and the extra telephone line discontinued = a saving of 1p per month!

Obviously, by anticpating saving all this dosh, we were able to purchase the Bird ........

Having said that, it took ages to get it all to load up properly, but a colleague of Jen's who lives in Ashby de la Z had the same probs so I don't think it was just me ....
