Battery cables

    the grandson has a fz 1000.he took battery out to replace with new one.but didnt notice where two extra wires came from.how can i determine which side of battery they go to.

    Wow. My first instinct is the answer is obvious but maybe it isn't. Any idea where they go?

    I would expect them to both go the the + terminal but it is possible that something has been wired one to + and one to - to complete a circuit.

    To be certain I think you are going to need to trace the wires and see where they go - likely to be an accessory so hopefully not too difficult.

    As said, you really need to follow them and see where they go before doing anything....
    Is everything working on the bike ?
    They may well just go to a charging connector

    Thanks for the replies lads, but all is well again. Grandson got it back to where he bought it(he has only had it a couple of months) and they fixed it.anyway less for me to think about.I asked what they found,he said dunno. Kids howd have em.

    One of the few good things about mobile phones is it is really easy to take pictures of stuff before you take it apart......:error:
