Bash peds

Ok guy and gals.. It finally stopped raining for a couple of hours today which allowed me to build the newest edition to the racing ped fleet for the bash..
The Yamaha Bop II was kindly donated by 1200 Pete and before I started hacking it apart was pretty much road legal and in good working order..
30 minutes later and it had been attacked by multiple spanners, the gas axe, angle grinder and wire cutters.
To give a better idea of size, I asked Tom ( one of the grandchildren ) to sit on it for me.. he is 8 and of average height .. Oh, and he tells me that he wants a Bird when he is old enough and intends joining the forum next week ! :-: :}

I tried to get a PW 50 from work which was confiscated but they thought i'd sell it on or rip around the streets on it :dunno: BASTIDS put it in the crusher.

Funny you should say that......... Whilst the Bop looks the best it does have certain limiting factors..
I think it will perform overal in a very similar way to the other old buggers.. Looks aint everything ya know !

in answer to your question Centaur, YES and NO,

the bash dates are 28th to the 31st may, that's 2004, :}

Rest assured the other two peds are undergoing restoration ( wellll,, being put back together ! ) ..
Gonna have to spend some hard earned on them though I think.. But they will at least go where you point them this year ! :}
