Bad ebayer

My daughter is on the verge of obtaining me my first negative on ebay, all because she did not check the vendors feedback,
She bought a Little britain mug off of a Miss T Goodman 17 south street Alford Lincs, she paid by cheque which was cashed and cleared on the 18th jan, we have received notification from ebay saying that the vendor has complained that my daughter has not paid.
on checking the womans feedback she has 89 negatives in the last month all saying she takes the money and does not deliver the goods.
I have contacted ebay who do not want to know, I am seriously considering contacting the police

any suggestions?

Hi Derek,

Friend of mine paid cash for a camera, recorded delivery and all that, signed for by the seller, and nothing but failed promises of delivery, she contacted the police who followed it up eventually and found that the seller was actually wanted on a warrant for deception and was arrested at the address my friend gave them !

The police were not initially interested but when pressed took action and actually admitted to building a case file to try to get EBay closed down.

Another alternative is a Bird meeting at 17 South Street Alford Lincs ??

I made a mistake she has 81 negatives for the past month not 89 she also has 140 negatives for the past six months and for information she sells under the name

So check out her feedback and see if you can explain to me why ebay are still letting her trade

I must admit I can not understand it, but she does have a long selling history. That in itself is making money for ebay. They probably turn a blind eye to big negatives from big sellers.

I would pursue it, go through the official ebay motions if you haven't already. Then if you get nowhere, the easiest solution is to accept that you may get a negative feedback when you have left your negative for her. But you can reply to yours, at least justify yourself. Most ebayers, myself included will go through seller/buyers feedback and check the negatives, as sometimes folk are just bloody impatient and give bad feedback for nothing...................I think by the looks of it, alot of hers are justified!!!!!

Judging by the other feedback it appears that she doesn't even answer her phone

with Post and packaging my daughter paid ?7.99 I think, she has obviously more money than sense

We are still waiting for a response from Ebay but we are not holding our breaths

I had a similar thing a few months back, i sold a dvd to someone on ebay and they kept e-mailing me saying they had not recieved it and that the cheque had been cashed by me, which it hadnt at that time. He tried it on with me, but i wasnt having any of it. :shooter:
I told the buyer this, and still, he kept saying he had not recieved it. I told him i would take it up with the post office to which he backed off and told me the next day he had got it. I havent left feedback for him as i do not want negative feedback from him..... And he hasnt left feedback for me either. I aint leaving feedback, id rather just leave it, and have none, than negative. %$fan
