....need some advice.

I have my autocom lead tucked under the seat and every time I ride with the Mrs, I have to get the seat off, feed it through the fairing so when the seat it back on, the lead comes out on the inside of my thigh...

...I would be interested how you mount your (the riders) autocom lead....piccys would be nice, or does everyone have it tucked under the seat like me...

Thankz in advance.

Just get an extension lead so that you can leave one end stuck out of the infill panel next to the tank so its just plug and go

I have the rider one coming up between my legs (so to speak!) between the seat and the tank.
The pillion one comes out under the seat where the helmet hooks are.

Whip the seat off and tuck them inside when riding solo/washing the bike.

I had them cable-tied to somewhere handy, (takes the strain if you walk away and forget to unplug) but as I now move the Autocom between two bikes I've got to come up with a new idea for this.

John, you could have another set of "leads" and just move the unit itself, would save all the "messing" with cable ties etc, :dunno:

No Ian, the leads come directly out of the Autocom so can't do it that way. Its these bits I had cable-tied into place. I have extension leads between them and the helmets, and generally keep them with the helmets.

The only wiring I leave in place is the Bike2bike bits as they are under the tank and handlebar mounted for the PTT button.

Might just splash out on another Autocom unit though
