So, on Saturday Wife & I set off from Daventry to do the 3-cafe run - Crossgates, then on to the Ponderosa (via the west-coast / Snowdonia route) then finishing off with a cuppa at the Quatt cafe in Shropshire... Well, at Crossgates I suggested she might to FINALLY try the Bird (been trying for 2 years) and she agreed! So just outside Newtown we swapped over, me following my bird (ULP!!!) on her Fazer Thou. she rode it to the Pond, then on to the Quatt... Finally "prised" the keys out of her grasp for the ride home.
Her opinion? "Mu God - It's F$£@+@G EXCELLENT" she exclaimed excitedly, massive grin on her face, standing outside the Ponderosa. Another convert to Honda - (she's had a thundercat, Z1000SX Kwack, and three Fazer 1000's, and rode my CB1300SA) and agrees the Honda's are smoother, best gearboxes, and handle like it's on rails... Nice... Now having to hide my keys... I foresee the Fazer being replaced in due course (slowly slowly catchee monkey - these things take time) (y)

What didn't you think of the Fazer 1000.

I loved mine.....if only the weather protection had been better...

I was but having now ridden one I thought it was dull. Test ride a Massey Ferguson GS12 tomorrow
Don't do it. You'll end up buying a 4 wheeled version and turning into Beaker mk2.

Oh my goodness no... Ponderous, ugly, over-priced, over-hyped - and that's just the owners...

Clueless in most things
So, have we clarified if someone was trying to steal your bird, or your bird?
