I sometimes wondered about the fate of green shield stamps, I can remember the days of quad stamps promotions and used to trade the books of stamps at a shop in Plymouth in the mid 80s.
Then there were the Esso vouchers (or was it Shell?) that they used to give away you could trade for some really naff glasses, we’ve still got a load of them.
Now I just use the Tesco card and get my money back vouchers - trade them in for 1:3 against my Chunnel costs. If I book a fortnight ahead. And so I missed out when I booked mine for next Wednesday as a late decision to go away from Boris

Fitted a smaller rear sprocket today ( still waiting the the larger front to arrive
Finished wiring the extra sockets to the bike ( 2 x USB and 2 x 12v sockets now )
Ran tests on the new gopro mount ( zero vibs and clear, well pleased )
Machined up a set off set spacers for some one playing with a weird suspension mod on an old 600 GS
Started packing for Italy ( and wheedling out all the stuff I took on the 1200GS but can live with ) out
That is so far today.. Time approaching for a nice long tall cool one and a siesta now

Well I did know that.
I knew most of it but not the exact date of opening so I kept quiet.
