Sunday ride out to Deeside, maybe take in the Activity Centre depending on whos willing to pay the extra. If not there are great roads around there and we can always call in to Balmoral to say hello !!

All the 5 rooms in the Hotel are now accounted for;

Rolfy Dave and Jan
Big Harv & missus
Mike & Pam
Richard & Anna
Craigton

If anyone wants more info about B&B's in the area just drop me a lone.

ACTIVITIES

If anyone does want to have a shot at the extra activities, then the rideout planned for the Sunday can take in the Deeside Activity Park.
However the activites are not cheap even with the discount I scraped off them, so if you can let me know if you want to visit there to take part in some of the things available, or just a ride around Deeside so I can book the place in advance because apparantly September is usually busy.

So far a guide to prices are;

Individual Activities
2 hours of kart racing - ?45 each
2 -3 hours of paintballing - ?30 each

Activity Combi Packages
Quad Trekking & Kart Racing 2 hours - ?55 per person
Archery & Target Shooting 1 ? hours -?30 per person
Quad Trekking & Archery 2 hours - ?50 per person
Clay Shooting & 4x4 Driving 2 hours - ?75 per person
Multi Package (3 or 4 act.) Half Day - ?85 per person

Like I say if you all just prefer to have a long ride let me know, its a few quid for any activity but if you do fancy it let me know which ones, you can also look at their website (above) for more info of just send me a message.

Here are a few photos of the site.

Only 11 months to go !!

=====================================================

After this weekends excellent effort from Rolfy, on our 9 hour ride home (yeah, sorry my arse IS sore!!) I did a bit of thinking but I wanted to run it past you lot first.

This is intended as a wee BASH and not intended to be anywhere near the time of Rolfys main BASH.

Now I know we live a long long way from most of you, but we have an excellent park with a pub/hotel on it, a chippy across the road, and a few shops and to be honest it would be an excellent location for a Scottish BASH.

There is also the option of great ride out roads (with little plod, not I don't meant short arsed bobbies either) distilleries aplenty and a local cart track. Of course there would be a lot of sorting out but to be honest I know most of those concerned and so IF (and its a big IF (cos its in CAPITALS)) there were enough interested I would be more than willing to organise things here (its 2 miles from where I live) I just wondered how many on here would fancy it ??

Like I say I know its a long long way from where most of you live and it would have to be worth it for numbers but if you let me know we'll see what happens.

See what happens if you don't have an intercom with yer missus talking to you as you ride for 9 hours, you think of all this bloody stuff and think its good, if not Im sure you'll let me know !

Just type Fyvie into Google Maps to see how far we are away !!!

I'm sure it could be doable with some notice/planning - then again, I nip up to north of Inverness every few months, so get used to it...

Im quite willing to do all the organising but only if theres a few interested.

Its just a toe in the water to see if its worth doing.

Oh dear is it that obvious !!!

Its amazing what you think of on a 9 hour ride, just as well I haven't suggested some of the other stuff that crossed my mind on that run back home
:-0)

Yeah that is the circuit, not far from here either.

Well, we havent been to Scotland on the bike yet, so...

Count us in...

We will probably do it as part of a weeks touring I reckon if you could put up with me up there...And, as there is a hotel there :-: well happy

Great to see you both again.

Hope this all works out (I am salivering at new territory to explore)

Cheers,

Rolfy & Jan

Its only cos I had such a good (even if short!) time at the weekend that got me thinking ! As has been said, maybe its BASH fever !

Need to get a few interested of course but I'm quite happy to organise it if enough are interested, as well as the hotel on site there are plenty of B&Bs and for those wanting to camp the ground is dead flat and the grass is regularly cut.

Be a few things to sort out of course but I'll just see what the response is like over the next few weeks and take it from there.

How far's the nearest airport? There's no way Alan would be up to that distance with his health problems, but if there's an airport nearby...........

Wonder how much it would cost to put the Bird on a train?

Yup there is a hairyport at Aberdeen which is 25 miles away, we could easy pick you up from there, in the car of course !!

Anything to get the sweeties here !!

Russ hope you know what your getting yourself into here :eek: good luck and we will be there.:-0) what ever.

Mike, probably not !!!!

I was thinking of around August (needs to be later otherwise the campers will freeze to death!) but also needs to miss any other BASH dates. Maybe do alternative year with a Northern BASH or SHEEP FEST ??

Or any other suggestions ??
