Just remembered Gypsys mate CoolJ has a really nice Blackbird for sale also on an R plate 11,000 miles loads of goodies inc gel seat, White indiacators, cans, really nice paintjob, new tyres,alarm imob etc etc.

Might be worth a look as well, and he lives in the same area as Paul Hunt.

Just ask the dealer. Akrapovic do make road legal cans with removable baffles and they have the appropriate stamp on them. They also [obviously] do illegal cans that are stamped 'not for road use'. The dealer should be able to answer this straight away.

If it's not road legal, keep the system on there and try and beat the dealer down on the price by saying that you HAVE to go and buy a new can, which will cost ?350-?400 (ish).

Then get yourself over to a bike show somewhere and get one for about ?100 less than that :beer:

Can the Dealer knowingly sell a bike with race cans on? knowing that they are A, naughty and B, An MOT failure, perhaps they have the OE cans to go with the bike, worth checking I guess.

was going to pop over this Monday ( My day off ) to have a look at that Bird.


But as someones left and dropped me in the shite I will have to go in to work so will not be able to get over until Next Monday, always assuming I can get someone else to replace him.


Would have called in to day as we were having a beetle over that way, but the idle git ( Paul Hunt ) dont open Sundays.
