My neighbour (current GXR600 owner, but will own a GSXR1000 by then) and I (BB of course) were discussing a biking holiday the other day, and I mentioned going to watch the Ryder cup in Ireland - Sun Sep 24 2006
(at Kildare Golf And Country Club, Co. Kildare, Ireland).

Toss in a few days riding around the emrald isle, with a cheep hotel thrown in, gazzillions of guiness and hey presto - a somewhat memorable trip!

What I know is that the final day (the day we would be interested in) tickets are currently on sale for ?300.

Would any BB rider here be interested in this sort of jaunt?

UK to Holyhead - ferry over - find some nice roads etc etc...

Any information any1 can offer about riding in IReland would be most graciously recieved - or any other tips. This would be my first real tour, sort of.

Thanks in advance.
