Dead on Rhino

even to the year. That car had the most solid rear suspension of any car I owned. Every bump jarred the spine but it was a lot of fun to drive. Better give up on cages now or bicycleclips will be after me!

had a fright in an Opel Rekord Lumpy

Six in the car, driving back to Nairobi from Mombasa middle of the night on murram road in the rain. Moving on nicely and lights went out. Scary few moments. Brake hard on the mud? Slow down gently and hope to stay on road? Braked like hell and used instinct to correct skids. Checked fuses and then found wife who was asleep in the middle front (bench seat) had pushed the light switch off with her knees.
