Following on from a phone call I received several + weeks ago about the guy who had kept my contact details as a result of a talk I gave to his club 5 years or so ago, I had another such phone call this morning.
The chap phoned and said something along the lines of "You probably won't remember me but about 8 or 9 years ago I called you about a motorcycle crash I had been involved in"
Well, he was certainly correct in that I did not remember him, but to cut a long story short, it transpired that this chap had been involved in a motorcycle crash all those years before, and had called me to see if I could assist
Being damage only I was unable to help other than give him advice and advise on liability.
So having phoned he said "The reason I am calling after all this time is because my younger sister has been catastrophocally injured in a car crash and I never forgot how you helped me just by talking to me.
To say I was flattered for sure is an understatement.
Just a shame I was unable to assist him and his sister this time either.
I hope they get something sorted out.
