No, it just collapses 'outwards'.
It is therefore not up in the sense it is an 'up' umbrella.. It IS in the sense it is a broken umbrella and would afford little protection in the event of rain..
You could get a grand piano or even a house down a 4" pipe if is broken enough !

The umbrella didn't break. It went back to its closed position without any issue.

Stop trying to worm your way out of it.

An Umbrella that is folded UP is not an umbrella !
You can call it an umbrella but unless you can demonstrate that an umbrella is normally used folded upwards methinks it is not I who is doing the worming
