Brizzie is nice

Spent a bit of time over there and it's good. A bit bloody hot in summer for leathers though! Seems odd that winter is the best time to ride there.

If you fancy coming over to NZ while you're down this way, let me know. Clive will tell you what the riding is like.

last visit, 1958!

I still remember my days in Ozz, 1958, living at the "junction", 105 Old South Hill Road. and working in Paddington. $56.00 per week. Beer, 10 cents per midi, and rugby league clubs, great beaches, birds, ponies, dogs, the list goes on. Thank God for off-track betting or I might still be there. Great weather!The war was full blast so my mate and my Yankee friends weren't popular with the lads but the ladies loved us for our "style". Unfortunately my mate got the worst o it in Coogee Bay rugby club, broken jaw, had to dring egg flips for a month. I won't mention "the Cross", needless to say it was interresting. Nest time I"m there I'll get a dual-purpose and ride to Perth. I think I'll have steak eggs and chips for breakie. What's the price of gas these days? I paid 81 cents per litre yesterday. It would be nice t pop down to NZ Geoff, but am gonna be with the wife and brats, so dont think it will be poss, but hey, you never know, I may be allowed off the leash for a couple of days, roughly how much would it cost to fly from Bris to NZ?? :yo:

Freedom Air from Brisbane to our nearest airport, Hamilton, is 3 hours flying time and the cost is about 60 quid one way on special.

If you don't make it this time around, I dare say NZ will still be here another time . Incidentally, I've found out that my sister in law was born in Pembury!
