On the way home from the Bash this afternoon on the A16, got timed between 2 points and recorded an average speed of 93 mph. They didn't lecture me and had no complaints about my riding, Black visor or No. plate.
Another ?60 and 3 points though

A beautiful clear day, little traffic, a very wide, swoopy road with no turn offs. Biker heaven and I suppose the Cops know that and set up in a field half a mile away and wait for some unsuspecting outsider to give them some excitement. I suppose I got off light. 33mph above the max.
I think I better only use 1st gear on the Bird from now on. :}

We passed a Gatso at 78mph but I didn't see it flash so I'm hoping to keep a clean licence for the time being.
Bad luck mate but the penalty could have been a lot worse - the old bill must have got his leg over the night before
