The swallows that nest in our stables are back for the summer, I think the advance party are a tad early, it's still feckin cold out today.

We have a very young blackbird with its mum living off our lawn at the moment.

Our colony of Sparrows have disappered since we stopped filling the feeders up. Ungrateful little gits.

The swallows that nest in our stables are back for the summer, I think the advance party are a tad early, it's still feckin cold out today.
We usually get a lot of House Martins at work as we are based next to a sh!t farm.
Nice to watch. But disgusting around the nest sites.
They used to use the compressor house as we had to keep the doors open through the summer to aid cooling,
once they started nesting you avoided the place like the plague, sh!t everywhere!
We had to cover the entrances with fine netting to stop them getting in.
