I know the feeing mate.. only too wellToday my prized ZZR and Busa were escorted off the premises for pastures new. Too big and heavy for an old fart like me now, and so they had to go. Not an easy decision and it pained me, it’s the first time I have sold something without actually wanting to. View attachment 62745
I had expected the inside of your camper van to be a little better if I’m honest.Today my prized ZZR and Busa were escorted off the premises for pastures new. Too big and heavy for an old fart like me now,
I suppose its been a couple of years for me now and I do keep thinking about getting something small and light but it wouldn't be the same and I am liable to thrash any little un I could afford to death in about half a day hence ending up still bikeless but also broke
Very very very very very light and goes like stink.Guys, I am thinking of an R6 for this year
Very light and goes like stink
As much of a Honda fan as I am, I find the CB600 sort of bland after riding an R6Very very very very very light and goes like stink.
Took me a good while to get used to having so little motorised bicycle in front of me……felt like my nose was hanging over the front wheel…..not a good feeling when going round Paddock Hill bend at Brands which already feels like you are falling off the face of the earth
Don’t rule out CBR600…..
Get an R1, you poof!Guys, I am thinking of an R6 for this year
Very light and goes like stink
I would but trying to keep it as light as possible, and nowadays I have to face the fact I just aint that quick any moreGet an R1, you poof!
Maybe not quick by your previous standards but compared to twats like me you are!I would but trying to keep it as light as possible, and nowadays I have to face the fact I just aint that quick any more
Left hand drive presumably?Oops, I just accidentally purchased a 1976 Triumph T160 750cc Trident.
US import, naturally, but owned by my pal for the past 28 years and never used, just kept in his collection. Now it just needs registering and MOT (to then qualify for historic status and zero RFL)
it’s in pretty good original unmolested nick, and so it should be as it’s only done 1150 miles.
I cant fold myself up onto one now and there is not enough wind protection for me but they are not a bad choice if you like themGuys, I am thinking of an R6 for this year

I gather you aint ridden one then....I think you would be surprised on both countsI cant fold myself up onto one now and there is not enough wind protection for me but they are not a bad choice if you like them
I have ridden one for about 70 miles, seat to footrest is too short for my long legs, screen isn't tall enough even with the flip that was fitted to take the pressure of my knackered neck at speed and and I cant get far enough behind it to get out of the blast or my knees end up around my ears, the stock bars appear to be at an odd angle which made my wrists hurt (but maybe that was an adjustment by the owner?)I gather you aint ridden one then....I think you would be surprised on both counts
I am guessing you are a short arse then mate?I agree the footrests could do going lower but I fond there is plenty of weather protection.
Footrests lowering is not a problem
