Cool as a Cucumber
For asylum seekers

I come for visit, get treated regal,
So I stay, who care I illegal?
I cross border, poor and broke,
Take bus, see employment folk.

Nice man treat me good in there,
Say I need to see welfare.
Welfare say, "You come no more,
We send plenty cash right to your door."

Welfare cheques, they make you wealthy,
NHS, it keep you healthy!
By and by, I got plenty money,
Thanks to you, British dummy.

Write to friends in motherland,
Tell them come as fast as you can.
They come in rags on the back of trucks,
I buy big house with welfare bucks.

They come here, we live together,
More welfare cheques, it gets better!
Fourteen families they moving in,
But neighbour's patience wearing thin.

Finally, British guy moves away,
Now I buy his house, and then I say,
"Find more aliens for house to rent."
And in the yard I put a tent.

Send for family (they just trash),
But they, too, draw the welfare cash!
Everything is mucho good,
And soon we own the neighbourhood.

We have hobby-it's called breeding,
Welfare pay for baby feeding.
Kids need dentist? Wife need pills?
We get free! We got no bills!

Britishman crazy! He pay all year,
To keep us illegals in comfort here.
We think UK is very good place!
Much too good for the British race.

If they not like us, they can go,
There's lots of room elsewhere you know

bollox indeed

Richard, I'd like to see you survive on welfare cheques, never mind buy a house in this country on welfare.
Why oh why pick on the Asylum seeker; why not the stupid fookin government and the EC for the not agreeing a common policy. If a common EC policy existed, the majority of Asylum seekers wouldn't travel across Europe to get here.
If I were in their shoes, I'd do exactly the same and so would we all :bang:

Would we Joeboy~~??

I've never lived on charity/handouts - never will!!

Even at times of unemployment!!!

Did you know that as a country, we "spend" more money on BENEFIT FRAUD, than it cost to run the entire health service?

Yet [as far as I'm aware] the Benefit Fraud Team that covers the entire East Midlands consists of 2 Full Time and 3 Part Time "Civil Servants"

Why should they bother.....after all it's only the Tax Payers money going to waste

 :dunno:

Bert, I've never had the mis-fortune of being unemployed, however

I don't know where you're getting your figures from but I can assure you that we do not spend more on benefit fraud detection than on the National Health Service :dunno: and you may not have lived on charity handouts, but then again, you have never been in the position of a GENUINE Asylum seeker have you?
Like you, I don't believe in sponging of the state, I'll tell you what I paid in tax this year when I see you next and it annoys me when our more than generous welfare system is subject to abuse, however (and back to my original point) it's our government and those that supposedly represent us at the EC, that have facilitated the whole Asylum seeker situation.

Asylum

Surely one of the rules of asylum is that a seeker must request asylum in the first 'safe' country. Why don't we enforce this rule as it would be so much easier and far less of a problem to f?$% off the Scottish and Welsh. Seriously, the fact is that we the British are such a gullable bunch of fools and we (some of us anyway) always consider those in the wrong, before the righteous.

As all we have to do is to enforce the standing asylum rules.
