Urgent message to all our members regarding a phone scam pretending to be from Amazon. They will ask you to push a certain digit on your phone and that will entitle you to prime membership at a great price. Just hang up its a complete scam. The caller is from a foreign country.

I've had 4 such phone calls over two weeks in August. The recorded message was something like ' Your Amazon Prime account is about to be automatically renewed for £79.99. If you didn't agree to this, please press 1 on your keypad and you will be transferred to one of our advisers.'

I was tempted to press 1 the last time just to see what happened but decided against it.

I've also had 3 calls in the last month from HMRC to inform me that an arrest warrant has been issued in relation to fraud, press 1 to speak to one of our advisers and one call telling me one of my contacts has CV-19 and I'm required by law to purchase a test kit.

Oh, and yesterday I was told I've apparently had two accidents I didn't know about and my compensation is being held in a secure account waiting for me to finalise my claim.
