Yeah, i know it is name dropping, but I was fortunate enough to have lunch with Rossi about 5 years back through work. Absolute gent, bit of a geezer as well. And is as passionate about many other things other than Moto GP.

As is the way of the world, the man is hated by many because he is in a league of his own talent wise and chooses to add a bit of his own mark to how he goes about it.

I am a big Rossi fan but Lorenzo certainly showed him a clean pair of heels all last weekend.

Bloody good thing too, much as I would like to see Rossi get the championship again I don't want to see him win it easily, I want it down to the last corner at the last race (A la Barcelona).

I particularly liked it that Rossi waited a couple of laps and then showed Lorenzo how to progress to the front.

Wish Smithy would learn how to park it on an Apex for a few corners.
