anyone else watched 'A Concert for Australia: Fire Fight' on Sky One.

Never been a massive fan but Alice Cooper was sensational, hope I have that much energy at 72. Brilliant band, and although long haired heavy metal guitarists have never really done it for me I couldn't take my eyes off the one with the long blonde hair. Ahem.

Queen also at their brilliant best, never seen May play so freely, frequently going off piste. Most unlike Queen.s

Hope I look as good as Olivia Newton-John does at 72:eek:

I missed it, I’ll see if there’s a repeat in the offing. I’ve always been a fan of Alice Cooper since School’s Out and I wanna be elected when I was still at school. Although his image is of a “wild” rocker, he always comes across as a proper nice bloke. Plays golf as well.

ONJ - omg , yummy. Nuff said ;)

Massive Alice Cooper fan, me, I have all his albums. I've only managed to see him on three occasions but every time, he's put on an incredible show including having his head chopped off. A real showman!
On our way home from Vegas a few years back, we travelled via Phoenix just so I could go to his restaurant a few times :D
Aside from that, he's very funny (listen to his radio shows) and incredibly intelligent. Of interest to Beaker is that he's also a very good golfer and can hold his own against some of the pros.
Whilst the word is way over-used these days, Alice Cooper is a living legend.
