This came out at the start of the pandemic when the media behaviour in the daily briefings was absolutely disgusting.
Spose she brought back the new strainThis came out at the start of the pandemic when the media behaviour in the daily briefings was absolutely disgusting.
In my opinion they have improved significantly albeit many of the questions they ask make me think 'have they not been listening, even I know the answer to that'.
The worst of the lot was Beth Rigby from Sky, hugely negative and made many personal attacks on those presenting the briefing. Where is she now I wonder...oh yes, I remember, suspended by Sky for three months for breaking lockdown rules. Kay Burley got six months suspension then buggered off to South Africa for a holiday.
Funny old world.
I agree someone has to ask the questions - there is a way of doing it properly and the media certainly weren't doing that at the start of the pandemic. The bloke is an arse, rich maybe but an arse all the same, I dislike the press quite a lot & yes they got a lot of things wrong (still are) but who else is able to ask awkward questions of the political elite ? certainly not some jumped up barrow boy
So my summery, sugar is an arse with nothing helpful to contribute so should shut up instead of slyly self promoting!
i think i have told the stories of my battles with tv license twats before, needless to say I agree & dont want or need a tv, we only have one because er indoors & the little one want it, last time it went pop i was much happier until she bought a new one (i stoutly refused despite all the screaming)Sarah Montague on Radio 4 News at One. is ladyparts of the first order. She spends her interviews trying to get a negative response to anything the Govt is doing. A typical left winger (whinger) in a BBC full of them. Time for a good clear out IMHO. I've got shot of my TV and have no intention of funding the bastards. I was hoping the candidate who wanted to get rid of the licence fee would become the next Director but that isn't happening. The begging bowl, with teeth, will continue to be held out. It should never be a criminal offence to not have a TV licence. It's a civil matter, not criminal. Why the feck are the BBC doing local radio? That is surely the province of the private broadcaster. End of rant.....for now.
