Accomodation near Le Mans

Alredy planning next years trips,Le Mans and Valencia for the GP`s are top of the list but struggling to find any digs near to the circuit or town at Le Mans.Any body stayed near here and can recommend anywhere ? Dont do camping as some of my mates ride pocket rockets and wont carry the gear.Cheap and cheerful would be good as long as its not too far from the night time action,even if we are all ageing a bit.Any help gratefully recieved. :yo:

Good Hotel

Hotel l'escale, 72 Rue Chanzy, Le Mans


Its been several years since I used it but I did go there several times and it was cheap tidy and close to the circuit,walking distance.

You should be able to find it on the net easily enough.

Now you have got me thinking about my next trip. Enjoy.

Campanile in the middle of Le Mans (about 1Km from the top end of the Mulsanne Straight). Cheap and cheerful, but clean, good quality rooms, with a decent restaurant attached.

Lots of Motels in Le Mans : -- Quick Palace, Formula One, Campanile and many more. I have found that the Formula One chain to be one of the better ones and a little cheaper about 40 ? for a room that sleeps 3.
Buffet type breakfast for a few euro's.

I am riding from Valencia to Bilbao on 8th Oct if there is any one in this area.

If they are anything like the Premiere class sleeping 3 in a room is fookin tight especially with all your riding kit, top boxes, tank bags etc. They have a bouble bed with a bunk over the top.
