Luscious Larry was a TV... ?My first TV was Lucious Larry......
The first thing I remember on telly was a load of white lines & a hissing noise until my dad thumped it then the picture became clearer but started going up & down so dad twiddled a knob & then it started going side to side.
ECC182 bottle needed changing.. That was the most common sync valve any way

One memory that came back tonight while I was channel hopping and came across The Eurovision Song Contest......desperately trying to stay awake as a kid through same until Match of the Day came on......and generally failing......
