Well, a lovely ride out on the bike... Just a short one for a first time out this year... Just under a hundred miles (wimp, I know), but I really do need to get back into it gently (and biking)... Managed to hit 3 figures on a couple of occasions (35.6mph), and even passed a slow red blackbird by Cleobury... Even Jan enjoyed herself (mostly, coz we went shopping in Ludlow food centre :p )

Effie performed beautifully. Her new BT023GT's were a treat, and the HyperPro aftermarket shocker was great...All it needs is a decent rider on it, and it would be a great machine (not the pure adrenalin buzz of the XX though ) Jan managed to rip off one of the Autocom lead holders (bloody vandal), but even that didnt spoil my day.

As Wall & Grommet would say "A Grand day out" !!!

Roll on the next one... Maybe over to Abersandwich @tu*

Met up with Ant & Debs Butterfield at Shrewsbury, and were introduced to the adorable Reuben. He is a wonderful young man, and a credit to them both. Loved their litle shop in Shrewsbury Market hall. Ant is a very talented artist & a vist there is recommended to enyone who likes good art (proper stuff, not an unmade bed or a sheep in formaldehyde)....

All in all, a very nice time was had by both of us.

Hope your day was as enjoyable as ours.

Good to hear you had a great day on the bike. Sounds a lot better than grouting the new tiles that I was doing c7u8

yeah but if you get that tiling finished before the clocks go forward, think of all the brownie points you can spend getting out on the bike after work!! go on you know you want to!
