Just Had A Look At.............

the "W H Y D T Y B Forum".......and all credit to the guy.

He wanted a black 'un.. black wasn't available in the U.S.A. .... so he bought a silver one and then bought all the black bodywork and fitted it !!!!:lick:

Thanks for your comments, guys! :beer: I did have a line on a perfect used tank from a '99...kind of was running low on funds by then after buying the rest of the bodywork from Ron Ayers here in the US, so waited (a new one was over $500 USD!). Thought it looked incomplete with the silver one, then it kinda really grew on me and now I much like it. Besides, now it's absolutely unique the way it is! R#? :-:

As for the lettering - piccies was taken last summer before the white lettering boot was put on

Still got old boot in the loft - will have to dig it out and photo it again!

Happily swap it for one one of yours as my old one has got loadsa tread in the middle - unlike ALL of yours slacker
