A Day in the Lakes

I have just got back from a brill ride in the Lake District. Me and the Mrs and a Givi box, 230 miles and virtually wall-to-wall sunshine.

After a stop-off at Devil's Bridge (car boot sale and gypsys :bang: ) we set off for Kendal and then up the A6 to Penrith. Back down past Ullswater and over Kirkstone Pass and home along the A65 to West Yorkshire.

Were you on the A6 or anywhere near Ullswater/Kirkstone pass this afternoon, as there were loads of 'Birds in all different colours.

And own up if yours was the titanium/silver one parked outside the toilets at Devil's Bridge at lunchtime :blush:

No but i was there yesterday and did almost the same run as you and i WAS parked up at lunchtime.............i met up with 'Chimes' (one of the Cloggers) and we had a good chat before myself and 10 mates zapped off into Penrith and then down the 'Honister' pass again :lick:
