If you are planning on selling your house, Strike are good at getting you buyers but DO NOT use their conveyancing service, worst ones we’ve ever dealt with.

You will be doing well to find anyone that is really on top of conveyancing. They all seem to work at their own pace, are not proactive and need to be pushed every step of the way.

I use a lady that I found about twenty years ago for everything, doesn't matter that she is nowhere near me geographically. I have followed her when she has changed firms. Makes such a difference.

Conveyancing was what my mother did for years before she retired. Replaced by the office junior who had no idea but did the job for half the wage.

It was pretty much mirrored across the legal profession in this area, get rid of the experience as it costs too much money & replace with cheaper, less experienced staff.

The same thing is happening in the accident claims industry. At one time your claim would have been dealt with by a solicitor who knew what they were doing. Nowadays, it's the office junior or a temp who receives peanuts in return for following a process map.

The race to the bottom began years ago.

We have used Alistair Heseltine of Heseltine Bray & Walsh for our houses & land transactions for about fifteen years, he has never let us down, we should have used him this time but strike offered us a deal to use their conveyancing, never again.
