Just when I thought 2020 couldn't get any worse I had a phone call last night from a family friend to tell me he has just been diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer. He was Malc's boss ,and he and his lovely wife became family friends. his lovely wife passed away 2 months before Malc.

Undoubtedly it has been a shit year but to save our minds and keep our spirits up I find there are small nuggets of gold if you look for them.
All the news media seem to ram bad news down our throats but if you look beyond that you can find things that make you smile again.

I'm a simple man (I know you'll like that Minkey) and spent 20 minutes last night smiling to myself as I watch a dog 'dancing' while a hippo sang 'the lion sleeps tonight'. (on Youtube)
