Right following a begging email :-0) all the rooms in the Vale and Standing Gables are now full!

When I get home on Wednesday I will update website so anyone else wanting to come will either have to camp (lots of room there) or wait in case there are any room cancellations.

There is only 50 weeks to go!!

Did it really sound that bad8rfl@ I hope you know I was on my knees typing your email.

50 weeks is that it I better get packing:-0)

Rightyho.....

B&B fully booked up now, Vale Hotel fully booked up.

As was mentioned at the end of this years McBASH, I'd like a bit of feedback regarding costs.

I know this is more expensive than a 'typical' Rally and its a good distance to ride to get here, but if we go to Lochter again, I will have to look at increasing your financial input from £20 per head to £40, that is still less than half the cost but I'd just like some feedback.

Also, I have been looking at the Sunday Ride out and have a great route taking in the coast, fishing villages, castles and generally riding the smaller, scenic roads compared to the last McBASH's. They are also not far from Fyvie but the overall route looks like being 200 miles but there are no balls out blast roads, mainly twisties that demand respect !!

Along the route I am looking at an activity like the Loch Ness Cruise, but its totally different but again to help with costs, would you be willing to pay £10 towards it ? That again is less than half the actual cost but again it does add to the overall weekend cost.

Because of these possible increases, I am keeping the actual McBASH cost to £30 per head which as you know includes;

Saturday, Sunday and Monday Breakfasts
Saturday and Sunday 3 Course Evening Meals
Free Camping (inside marquee)

So if you come and pay the extra for all the trips, you would be looking at £30 + £40 + £10

So a total of £80 which would include the food, Activities at Lochter and the 'additional' Boat Trip.

So just let me know if you think thats too much, or even if you wanted to make payments over a few months so that when you arrive you have actually paid for everything up front rather than being hit in one go ?

OR, if you want to take out any of the above to reduce the cost ?

Just looking for YOUR thoughts coz its YOUR weekend.

Talking of which
Even at ?80, still represents a chuffin good bargain. That's less than a tenner a month, so more than do-able.

Count us in Ruscle :-0)

Were happy to pay that Russ, in advance if possible, worth every penny IMO, and I hope you don't mind me pointing out you don't HAVE to go on the extra entertainment, Locter etc!! :dunno: though you'd definitely be missing out!! :dunno:

Sounds fine that Russ. Nikki (her in doors) wont be coming on the ride on sunday so she wont be doing what ever we do on the sunday. She will do the rest of the events.

So its ?80 off me and ?70 off her (me8rfl@)

I think after this years near miss with the scamera vans a scenic route would be better for 2014.

If the camera vans had been where we were 'making progress' some would have not only been banned but would also be looking at jail time!

I think I may have missed the question. Either go or don't go. I recommend you go, and it's gonna cost what it costs.

Confucious would probably say ........ best not to give people a menu-type choice ....... a flat cost/fee is best. Glasshopper.

Basically, if we go on a boat trip it'll cost ?10 (ignore their websites) but we can still visit the Dolphin Centre for nowt.

If not then just the free one.

By the time it comes around we will have forgotten all this anyway !!

Forgoten what???8rfl@8rfl@

Its my first McBASH so ill go with the flow@tu*

Does scotland not put out notices where the speed vans are going to be that day?? Or do you just flick them the finger and keep going;-0))

They had to do that a while ago where they had to put up temporary signs just before the vans, but then they put permanent ones along the whole road so they can put the camera vans anywhere no, coz they are sneaky bar stewards !

How about getting some plates made up to put on top of our bike plates saying something like,

I'm a McBasher,
making
progress

or

Russ says it's
ok to go
this fast!!

or

Police pursuit
practice
convoy

:-0) just an idea, :dunno: anyone got any other suggestions barring "THAT" one!! :t:rolleyes:
