yo dudes,

Well thats summer well and truly started, we are off and running. Over the weekend 30/03 Taffy and Ros travelled up to Jon and Anya's, stayed Saturday night and set the world to rights untill the small ours and then realised they lost an ours sleep due to the clock change

On Sunday, 5 birds turn up at Rolfy Dave's, loads of hi, ello and the giving of Birthday cards to Dave, that done and passports in hand we set off for Glawster and bacon butties at DB's, we collected another 2 bikes on the way down.

Managed to gain access to Glawster and breckies was served. Thanks to Claire for my special treat--smoked bacon yum-yum LOL

From Db's it was off on a ride around the Cotswolds, stopping off in Bourton-on-the-Water to soak up the spring sunshine, another Bird joined us there, Rob from Lemmington but I could be wrong on that one. At this point it was suggested that we go to lunch via RAF Fairford so we could pat one of the B52's based there. At this point remember that Db was riding point, as this is his play ground and being ex-RAF and having GPS he knows his way round, well, we saw the bombers, bloody big muthers, and then got lost, it was so good we went to Fairford twice, Db had left the GPS thing at home and well, his map reading, less said the better.

From the excursion we headed off for lunch, got to the pub and because they were so busy we could'nt get a meal, so we went over the road to the competition and had a great lunch sitting by the river in the sunshine. Taffy and Ros left us at this point and headed back to Truro, they arrived home at 21.00hrs cold but safe.

The rest headed for DB's for a cuppa and say our goodbye's.

Well in conclusion, thanks to all for making it a great day out as usuall. New people were met as is becoming the norm when we go out and as expected we all got on great.

A big thank you to Dave and Claire (she loves me :k ) for the hospitality at both ends of the day and not forgetting mommy DB for looking after the kids for the day.

So on to the next one then, Easter weekend in Cornwall, hosted by Taffy and Ros, check the Diary for details folks.
