Anyone recommend a good one from personal experience? Our Halfraud‘s one, which is bum basic and served us faithfully for about 16 years, packed up this week. There‘s plenty of them on Amazon with good reviews but each one has a few worrying crap reviews. Can’t be sure if it’s a few dodgy ones that have slipped through the net or if they’ve been botched by idiots or if they’re not as good as they’re cracked up to be.

I have this, though the prices have gone up.
Great bit of kit and rapid.
Warning, do not use unless engine is running.
1st time I used it without the car ticking over
it sent my clocks on the dash haywire....
Never had a problem after that.

I have had a RING branded inflator for years that remains on the money. Can’t see the exact model is still available but I can endorse the brand.

20p in the pump at the garage saves me getting it out too often though!

Going back to the original question, I find my personal tyre inflator works pretty well

After a favorable review in one of the Motoring mags, I bought one of these . .

Its reasonably accurate when checked against I pressure gauge and has worked without fault for about 3 years so far.
