After fitting new batteries to the smaller mobility scooter ( I am taking two down to Beni to save our legs going up and down the big hill in and out of the camp site ) I charged them up and took it for a check ride
Bit dissapointed to be honest.. Got about 2 miles out of it before the batteries started to drop quite a bit..

BUT
They are AGM and I know from experience it takes a few cycles of charging / discharging to get the best out of them
Tomorrow will tell !

I'd stick with the older bird (Bird) then. Older birds have more experience and can teach you stuff. The Passo will only want a 5 minute ride and then it'll be on FB for hours telling all it's friends that you're a crap rider.

No. It’s Poplar anyway, which is shite to burn. The two adjacent trees have to come down within the next few weeks before they fall over, too. The one that fell was diseased, so it’s almost certain the other two will be.
