The problem with short video clips is that they might not show the whole context and can be condensed to portray an inaccurate scenario.

On another site I look at someone posted a short clip from the USA of a white unarmed man who was not being aggressive being tasersd and struck numerous times with batons while being jumped on by five officers. Taking it at face value it really didn't look good.

Someone then posted a longer version of the same video and some related information showing that the so called victim more than deserved what he got.

I once asked the Mrs to test a 9v battery
with her tongue to see if it was flat.
To my amazement she actually did.

When I was about 9 I decided to check the power out from the "dynamo" on my bicycle. I held the wire in my hand, lifted the back wheel and gave the pedal a push.
I dropped it fairly smartly.

The short end of story.
My brother was using a wire to power a soldering iron, he had bare wires jammed into the split pins on the old plug on the iron. Unfortunately I switched on the power before trying to fit the bare ends to the plug............ my mother wanted to know why I looked so pale!

I was only about 6.

Mate of mine years ago had a BSA A7 500 and as was the maintenance of the day decided to wipe the slip ring of the magneto with a alcohol based degreaser soaked rag to clear off old carbon from the pick up brushes, told his girlfriend to kick the engine over SLOWLY, unfortunately forgot to tell her he’d taken the plugs out, well, Christine having seen the effort needed to start the bike normally gave it a prod, her foot fell to the floor pretty smartish with the result that Trevor was catapulted back against the garage wall, fortunately with no ill effects, we all fell about when he told us.
Didn’t mar the relationship though they’ve been married for the best part of 50 years bless em.

Yes he was wrong in approaching officers in the way he did but I cant help thinking a couple of dozen coppers could have arrested a 75 year old quite easily considering he was plainly on his own & that would have been a better outcome for everyone even if it was exactly what he wanted considering his previous history

Cops are not in formation to tackle one man, break ranks & you leave your colleagues vulnerable.

I take it you haven't seen the video ?

Cops were in no sort of formation & there was nobody within 100 yards to be vulnerable to, one cop went to give the old boy a dig & had to be pulled back so I call bullshit on that idea

Watch it & you will see ! I can understand a couple of cops walking on by & leaving him to be dealt with by those behind, which is exactly what happened but it took an age for it to get into their thick heads that he was down & obviously out

Saw two vids on CNN in last few days.

One black guy didn't dip his lights, he might have been behind the cop car, he ended up dead.

Another guy went through a stop sign - they say.
He didn't stop for cops until he got to his grandmother's house a short distance away. He got out of the car with his hands in the air. By then about 3 more cop cars arrived. They are all out now with guns pointing at one unarmed you guy with hands in air standing in middle of front lawn.

Obviously an extremely serious crime had been committed.
It ended up with him on the ground with cops on top and grandmother in the middle.

The major crime apparently was not stopping for the cops. I'd say he wanted to get to grandmother's house to have a witness. He didn't get out of the car until she came out of the house.

Typical Trump positioning - he is positioning himself for all eventualities - if he loses he has already made the the excuse i.e. He should have won but the voting system was corrupt..... which is what he always does.
