My FIRST bike

Here is a pic of my first bike,, it was a Suzuki AP50,, and wow did it go,, I used to get 50-55mph downhill with my head buried in the fairing .
Great fun battling it out with all them Yamaha fizzies (FS1E's). It was also one of the first machines to use autolube,, where you didn't have to put the oil in the tank and give it a good sideways shake just to mix it,, otherwise after a few miles the plug would oil up.

Haaa,, good ole days them were. I was 16 at the time but still remember my first outing on the little bike.

Still wish I had it:B

Still kickin' it!
Ain't got a Piccy, but...

...my first bike was a 199cc Triumph Tiger Cub 'n' it was the fastest bike in the WORLD!!!.

I changed the Zenith carb (for a monobloc - I think - it's all a bit hazy now!!!); changed the piston to "up" the compression ratio from 7:1 to 9-1 (as far as I can recall!); ground in the valves and fitted stronger valve springs, fitted "dropped" bars, a new clutch and tyres and got sixty miles per hour in THIRD gear (verified by my mate, who kindly pootled along behind me on his 500cc Triumph Tiger.

These days, I ride a fully-faired 170-mph four cylinder sixteen valve double overhead camshaft fuel injected Honda Blackbird and I...er...put petrol in it every now and then....Sad, eh?! :}
