What is or has been your favorite lid?
Always had Shoei lids myself, but the latest colour schemes are a bit naff, unless you want a plain one.
My current helmet is......

I've had Shoei lids for years as they've always fitted me, unlike Arai lids.
My first bone dome was a Boeri Driver. Great helmet, but you could never get replacement visors for it.
Currently using a Shoei Qwest Bloodline, which has served me well...

Shoei have never fit me & neither do the newer shaped Arai, the older shell shape Arai was perfect so that mostly what I had but when they changed I had a Roof diversion which was brilliant, now that's died I have Shark S900c which is almost as good but I cant see it lasting the 10 years+ the Roof did

The wife used to have a Roof Daytona, which she reckoned was the comfiest lid she has owned to date. Trouble was, the factory burned down a few years ago and you couldn't get visors for ages.

She's now got a Shoei NXR and that weighs about the same as 2 fag papers.

Used to like Sharks until I found Shoei then realised just how bloody noisy the Sharks were !
Tried a Caberg and found that noisy too by comparison, and it fell apart !.. When Caberg first came out they were priced and pitched at the budget end of the market...
To me, they should have stuck to that policy. I am of the opinion they are vastly over priced now.
Never had an Arai cos my head is the wrong shape for them
Currently have a plain silver Shoei GT Air which I find quiet and very comfy...

Started off with a Bell which I had for years. Then bought my first Shark, a Foggy rep.

I've had a couple of HJCs, an Arashi, a couple more Sharks, a Caberg & one Flip up Takashi.

Recently I've bought a new one. Tried Arai, Shoei, Caberg, another HJC and a few other makes but none of them fitted the shape of my head that well.

Ended up with another Shark

2 Shoeis for me... One GT Air and a Neotec. Find both really comfy and about the only ones that fit properly. Wasn't a great fan of flip front helmets til I tried the Neotec but find it works well and feels secure when locking the flip front down. Both are fairly quiet too.

Had a few AGV and Caberg. Went to get a new lid a couple of years ago, must have tried over 50 on. The most perfect one for me was an HJC rpha or summat. Its so comfy even after 12 hours of use in a day.

HJC - they fit my unusually Gorilla- like face rather well without squashing me face against the chin piece
