do you find that the heel of your boots leaves a smear of melted rubber on your exhaust? When cool, use some silicone eater (obtained from diy store) leave for 5 mins and wipe off. No risk of scratching, quick and easy.

From a man who recommends that you " waggle your elbows and knees like a chicken" ( see another of Andys posts) that's a bit rich . But then for an ex banker that's not a surprise is it?

And the answer to your question Andy is how the hell do I know because I don't ride behind myself.. Just sit on the thing and ride. Had a 4 hour round trip to Goodwood yesterday, dear me it was hot. Some may remember that earlier this year I had reported that I'm on kidney dialysis. It's going pretty well at present.

Don't worry about Andy, mention biking and his dementiorate memories come back of when I was a boy. Neat trick having dialysis and riding, did you use the givi rack? I agree with Bill, the hint is wimmin

Noobie - no though I have dialysed at 80mph in a car - in passenger seat with my wife driving. She doesn't reckon much on cleaning, and certainly not the Blackbird.

Spent much of day cleaning decking at no 2 sons new house - was there a football match going on this afternoon? Kept hearing cheering...
