Apparently scientists have come up with a device that can be implanted into the brains of people who have problems talking. It seems the new device turns thoughts into speech, this on the face of it is great and very beneficial to these people.

My worry is that they may become compulsory and every thought you had would come out as speech, I know someone not a million miles away who normally smiles sweetly at customers whilst thinking other thoughts who could be in big trouble. :jaja-no:

Worked in an office with a loud talker, even on phone.
One day somebody propped an acoustic ceiling tile in the wall in front of his desk (desk was tight to wall) and wrote in black marker "bullshit deflector"
