Seems perfectly clear to me. It's not a company if it's a limited liability partnership is it. You have obviously misled the poor little loves.

An LLP is registered at Companies House with a company number, certificate of incorporation and everything else that a 'company' has.

The only people that don't seem to know this are hmrc and , er, you:p

Hmmm. They don't pay corporation tax. The partners share of the profits are treated as personal income. So you would appear to have asked for the wrong department.

Yeah, ok, you are right.

Er, thinking about it, you are not wrong (can't bring myself to say 'right') .....it's a Company Limited by guarantee in this case. My llp relates to something else.

Hopefully nobody on here noticed, I think I got away with it......
