I had used Avons for years but decided to switch to Metzeler road tec 01's after reading great reviews about them. Now I have tried them I will not be going back to the Avons.
I will not say the Avons are a bad tyre by any means but I do prefer the Metzelers.
I ride 2 up 90% of the time and these tyres feel good in both dry and wet conditions. Can't really comment too accurately on mileage out of them yet but looking good so far.
