Still no idea what went wrong but the insurance gave me £4k so that is fair enough.

Picking up the new car today we bought last week..... The Kia was having far too many electrical woes..... Bit like owning a Blackbird.... The final straw came when it wouldn't switch off last Wednesday. Had my eye on a Jag F Pace for a while and got a great deal so took the plunge...
I have been eyeing the F Pace up…..let us know how you get on with it……
I love Jags & was looking at getting either an xf or an F pace, spoke to a mate who had an F pace & he reckoned he hated it, can’t have been that bad as he got another one.
I May well have gone for an XF two cars ago if there had been a sensible proper petrol engine option; all spawn if the devil diesels other than the mad R (?) 550+ bhp version.
My neighbour owned the XJL used in Skyfall,when she moved in…..fantastic bit of kit. She got rid when she got an estimate of £15k to replace the brakes…..
