I had similar on Thursday night at my sons; neither me nor Mrs B could get to sleep in the scorching heat so I went and found a sofa about 3am, out like a light…and then at 6am my mobile rings and I get asked ‘where are you’.
I didn’t have the energy to say ‘I was fast asleep on the sofa until you rang’.
You could have escaped.......
I suspect she thought I might have decided to go walkabout as old people are prone to doing…..
I am always ‘here’.No point ringing you then, you won't actually have a clue where you are
I don't suppose......"I'm yer neighbour, stood outside yer house and it's ablaze".... would be of interest then..?
